- It is a legal requirement under the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005 for all persons teaching in Queensland State and non-State schools and for those persons involved in either the supervision or assessment of practising teachers or student teachers to be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.

teacher registration number and password.

- The QCT is currently working with potential providers of Returning to Teaching in a School programs. Private providers interested in developing a program should contact the Professional Standards Unit for more information and guidelines.
